Dianne Garrett is a NYC educator with over 25 years of teaching and administrative experience. Throughout her career, Ms. Garrett has taught at several prominent independent private schools in the NYC Tri-State area. With her passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education ever growing, Ms. Garrett has lead a STEM Olympiad for over a decade . After realizing the demand of families in need of highly qualified teachers, Ms. Garrett is offering her services with the help of highly motivated and dedicated colleagues bringing this exciting and dynamic curriculum to a broad range of New York City students. STEM Virtual Olympiad's educators look forward to guiding students as they engage in science inquiry, develop critical thinking and collaborative skills, and of course have loads of fun learning in-person and virtually!

The beauty of this hands on program is that students can enter an exciting world of hands-on science, which will further bolster their work in school! For those interested in competitive fun, STEM HYBRID OLYMPIAD will prepare them so they may compete in regional, interstate, and coveted New York State competitions!
Let's Get Started Today!
Each alternating Saturday session includes an interactive student centered experience from 8:45am to 4:00pm (EST), and for non-competitors 8:45am to 2:15pm (EST). Students will elect to study topics from the following areas: anatomy and physiology, coding, 3D printing and digital photography, forensics, earth as a dynamic planet, weather and climate, as well as designing and building a boomilever, helicopter, hovercraft, and a Rube Goldberg machine.
All instructional, lab and construction materials are included in the cost of the program.

After realizing the demand of families in need of highly qualified teachers, Mrs. Garrett is offering her services with the help of highly motivated and dedicated colleagues with equal commitment.
The STEM Olympiad's educators look forward to guiding students as they engage in science, technology, engineering, art, and math inquiry, develop critical thinking and collaborative skills, and of course have loads of fun learning in-person and virtually!
